Aww...fun times all the time!! Christmas of 2003 was a good one. However, i find that each year, it just feels....different, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's just different. Well, Christmas morning I had to wake up at 8 a.m. cuz me in the fam were going to San Diego. You see, each year, we have two parties. One with our family and another with our family friends of forever long. It was just really weird cuz we NEVER have our parties during lunch, but somehow, it just worked out that way since everyone had parties to attend later on in the evening. I love Christmas time because I get to see people that I usually see twice a year. And it's usually around this time that I realize how much I miss them because we have sooo much fun together. aww! Well, after a really yummy lunch, watching several FRIENDS episodes, and opening presents, the real fun began. hahaha. The parents are hysterical at Christmas for some strange reason. Picture my auntie teaching us the "peanut butter jelly sandwich" game. haha. Dude, If you don't know that game, good for you because there will be ugly images in your head right about now. But that was a kodak moment...hilarious! And then there was my dad trying to "ocho". Ya, I pretty much denied that I was related to him at that point. lol.

Den we had to head back to LA for the family party, which was at my aunt's house this year. Again, I got to see aunts and uncles, cousins and kids, who I haven't seen in such a long time. It's always nice catching up and just being in each other's presence. More fun times. Like most of you, there was probably some form of magic mic around. Haha..and my dad would NOT let go of it for the life of him. Geez..talk about hogging the mic. j/k. Well, i ate, listened to the parents singing the usual frank sinatra songs, did some macarena, electric slide, swing and cha-cha, watched as my cousins got drunk (but then again they're naturally drunk all the time...hahaha!), took lots of random pictures, n then finally opened presents. Fun times!! I will really be looking forward to doing this again next year!

What made me kind of sad was the weather. I wish the sun was out because driving for 5 hours in the rain wasn't all that exciting. But God did make a way cuz when I got home, I looked up and the skies were clear and the stars were shining so perty. It was one of those moments. =)

::sigh:: Christmas is over. But it's ok...cuz we can make Christmas everyday, right? =P Well, thank God for the good times, for more precious memories that I will always keep, for always being there, and for continually insisting His presence in my life, even when I forget...as I often do. Aside from all the good times, spending time with people I love, getting presents, and eating ridiculously yummy food, what makes me most happy is that Christ was born again in my Heart and for that, I am truly blessed. =)
