I had a good weekend...
mainly because I got to hang out with cool Irvine people yesterday. I missed all of you guys and gals but most especially, I missed Alertos. Lol...j/k! My stomach needs to be conditioned to that kind of food again. ::insert my sincere apology to those who I made eat seriously unhealthy food w/ me in Irvine...(I am sure all of you have lost weight since I left):: I could barely finish half of the half carnitas french fries! Who am I?? I recall the time (when temperence was my enemy) I was able to beat Mel at eating. Bellamay, on the other hand, was a strong competitor. I think she won.
Anyway, Irvine was even more of a treat because I also got to hang out w/ non-vine ppl a.k.a. Beej, Steph, and Nimz. I like how I live between all of them, yet we see each other at Irvine. Reminds me of how Meechy, who lives a few blocks down, never visits me. :( haha...j/k.
Alsooo...studying at CSL for the first time was thoroughly exciting. I felt like a student again. How jealous I am of all of you current UCI students. I think I would have studied better if I had a CSL. Actually, probably not. Haha. ::sigh:: I need to study! I need a good place to study too! I am hesitant to go to the Glendale Library where there are questionable people who awkwardly try to flirt in the parking lot. Lol...ask me later.

My favorite part of the weekend was serving at Mass....twice! It's been a while and oh how I miss it. It's great to visit and remember how it used to be, but the reality is that I don't have Interfaith or Liwanag anymore. Do I want to turn back the hands of time? No. Not really. I think I've moved on. But at the same time, I need to do more for myself...and more importantly, for God. I need to remember how to serve. The meditation questions posed yesterday made me confront my human weaknesses, but even more so, my weakness without Him. Hopefully, during this Lenten season, I will figure out how to balance everything because I simply miss it. I need it. Help me to try...
P.S. There were some interesting homilies...lol. Btw, I think I am a GREAT kisser. ;p
Irvine...I'll see you Sunday!
