Save the Polar Bears!

In an attempt to practice and ameliorate my reading comprehension skills, I was reading Time magazine at the library today. I came across a disturbing article about polar bears losing their homes in the Arctic. Apparently, half of the Arctic is already gone, and they are estimating that, because of how quickly the ice is melting, the Arctic will pretty much be gone by 2030. 2030 people! OMGas! This means an increase in the number of extinct species and natural disasters. I don't know about you, but that scares that crap out of me. Not to mention, it makes me really sad because I think polar bears are really cute (refer to pictures below). We take good ol' Mother Earth for granted because we think that there's still a lot of time and resources, but we are gravely mistaken. We can't just pass off the responsibility to the next generation because we think that we won't feel the effects of our actions during our lifetime. I know there's already a lot of things to worry about. I mean, the last generation already screwed us over for social security. But, myself included, let's all do our part to save the Earth. Save electricity, water, gas, etc. Go Green!
