6 Things You Might Not Have Known About Me

Fact #1. I used to love Eminem.

Yes. It's true. Back in the days when watching TRL was a daily occurrence for me, I loved watching his videos. Remember..."I'm slim shady yes I'm the real shady all you other slim shadies are just imitating so won't the real slim shady please stand up, please stand up, please stand up." Admit it...his songs were catchy! lol. Plus I thought he was kind of cute. I think I downloaded all his songs at one point and for some reason I thought he was a lyrical genius. That's right! Lyrical genius. I think I still know all the words to "The Way I Am." Please don't ask me to rap it for you.

Fact #2. I was a paranoid child who was scared of intruders.

I was almost certain that one day someone was going to break into our house and rob us. So, I concocted my very own poison made up of shampoo, raid, and any other liquid I could find. The plan was that I would offer the brown substance to the intruder and tell them that it was coffee. In my mind he would then accept and die or at least pass out long enough for me to be the hero of the story. I also made escape routes out of windows, down the wall in our backyard, etc. Yes, I was very thorough. haha.

Fact #3. Up until the 1st grade I was attached to my mom's hip.

Well not really her hip. You know what I'm saying. I was a mama's girl and probably still am. In kindergarten, probably during the first month or so, my mom used to stay outside our classroom and peek her head in the window once in a while because I would cry if I realized that I missed her. I just remember feeling a whole lot better seeing that she was there. I moved to a different school for first grade and the same thing happened. This one time I made a scene because class had already started and I wouldn't let go of my mom. The secretary had to come out of her office to drag me away from her. I was in tears the whole time. Haha. You'd think I was a bad student from the distraction of missing my mom, but my kindergarten and 1st grade years were my best. Only student in first honors. Woot!

Fact #4. I dance in front of the mirror every morning.

Haha. Whatever, you guys do it too! Or...you wish you had the opportunity you did! And if you've never done it, you should cause it's a lot of fun! lol. So, partly for exercise, but more so for fun, I turn up my music, lock my door, and ugly dance in front of the mirror as I get ready for wherever I have to go. It wakes me up and gets me pumped up for my day. Hey, like Dr. Cristina Yang said, "Shut up! Dance it out!"

Fact #5. I had a TFC/tagalog lovin phase in middle school and part of high school.

I was obsessed with watching Filipino movies and following my favorite loveteam of the time: Marvin and Jolina. Lol! I bet 98% of you don't even know who they are cuz they're pretty old school. It's weird remembering that phase in my life because now that we have TFC, I don't really like it anymore. Anyway, to show you the extent of my obsession, I used to go to the filipino video store every week, look at their board to see if MAJ (Marvin and Jolina) had any guest appearances on any of the sitcoms and rent them. I would watch them over and over again and even recorded some of them. I've been to several filipino concerts because my friends were also fob lovers. I went to the MTB concert (saw Rico Yan before he passed), Gary V (he's so good!), Jolina and Rafael Rosell (who is now really hot in the PI), and freakin the Hunks concert (Lol! they're all really hot btw. even bj was alright). When I was in the PI I also went to ASAP with Carol Banawa because she's a family friend and saw even more stars. More recently I've been to the Lani Misalucha(chacha as my mom calls her) but only because we went for my dad's bday. Needless to say, I have a soft spot for fobs. I want to be their best friends.

Fact #6. Speaking of best friends! I've always wanted a gay guy best friend. They just look really fun. Since I wrote paragraphs for my other facts, I'll just leave it at that. :)

Wow, I just re-read all of that and am now hoping that you won't look at me differently. Please still be my friend! hahaha. :P

Ok, well if you didn't know, now you do.
